A new state-of-the-art business centre and logistics facility is proving a hit with virtually all the space now taken.
The 93,000 sq ft SmartBase on Bournemouth’s Aviation Park West opened in June.
It has facilities and services to meet the needs of modern businesses, consultants, freelancers and entrepreneurs.
The ultra modern hub is designed by Oktra, a leader in office design, and aims to be one of the best places to work in the south.
The hybrid flexible space offers pay as you go offices ranging from single private use up to 2,000 sq ft, along with 5,000 sq ft coworking and hot desking space.
It includes the impressive Sky Lounge with a roof terrace overlooking the airport and providing space for networking, chilling and creative thinking.
The Sky Lounge, along with double boardroom, has proved popular for corporate hire.
Meanwhile, the hub aims to provide solutions and help to businesses through facilities such as a meeting room, photo studio, gym, treatment room, 24/7 access, on site parking, electric charging, conferencing and event space along with networking and a community feel.
SmartBase clients also have the opportunity to locate with their stock and access I-Fulfilment logistics solutions.
Half of the offices were sold off plan with a further 45 per cent of vacant space signed within two months.
Offices range from 100 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft, each with secure access systems.

SmartBase is owned by the Bartlett family through Kruger Property Company Ltd.
The Directors include Michael Bartlett, Managing Director of three companies – Planet Buddies, Brandvault Global Services Ltd, and desire2 – James Bartlett, Founder and Managing Director of I-Fulfilment in Christchurch, and their father, Malcolm, who founded Kondor Ltd, the specialist provider of mobile and consumer electronics accessories, in 1994.
It was sold to its management team 20 years later.
