Peter Harding Wealth Management has named Lewis-Manning Hospice Care as its charity of the year.

The business, which is part of St. James’s Place Wealth Management, is owned by Peter Harding.

It has practices in Canford Cliffs in Poole, Sherborne and Shaftesbury, employing around 22 staff and 13 financial advisers.

Sarah Ryan, Marketing Director, said, “We chose Lewis-Manning Hospice Care as we are very aware of the amazing work that they do in the local community to support patients with life limiting illnesses.

“Our staff are all very much behind our new charity of the year and we’ve pledged to raise at last £3,000 over the next 12 months.

“We are kick starting our fundraising this month when some of the team will be growing moustaches, as part of the Movember initiative, and we will also be hosting an online staff quiz.

“Employees have been asked for their fundraising suggestions and there will be some personal events taking place over the coming months, as well as a big team climbing challenge which will be taking place at Rock Reef indoor activity attraction on Bournemouth Pier.”

Nicki Cluley, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care’s Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, said: “We are delighted to have the commitment and support of Peter Harding Wealth Management.

“They have made a great start to our partnership by donating £250 and we are thrilled with the pledge amount that they are going to be striving to achieve.”
