A new boxing gym has opened for business in Bournemouth.

Acting on behalf of private clients, Goadsby Commercial completed the letting of 19 Sea Road, Boscombe, to Marc Plunkett of Body Snatchers Boxing.

The premises comprise a net internal area of 1,705 sq ft over the ground floor and basement.

The unit was let on a new lease for a term of six years at a commencing rent of £12,000 per annum, exclusive.

Edd Watts, of Goadsby Commercial, pictured left, said: “This is Marc’s first boxing gym, having had a long career in the sport.

“He applied for a change of use successfully and having completed substantial fit out works, Body Snatchers Boxing is now trading.

“Marc was a pleasure to deal with throughout this letting and I am confident that he will be another successful addition to the wide variety of independent retailers in the Boscombe area.”

Marc spent 20 years at Poole Amateur Boxing Club as a boxer and then coach and a further seven years at Phoenix MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in Bournemouth as the boxing coach.

During that time he had over 40 bouts.

He is also a British Boxing Board of Control registered professional coach.

His new boxing gym opened in October.
