Her favourite smell is curry; nothing gets her angry; she looks for enthusiasm, honesty, a willingness to learn and a sense of humour in a new employee and chooses Costa Rica as her favourite holiday location.

Hannah Mazrae, Partner, Saffery Champness, takes the ‘hot seat’ for our popular 20 Questions.

Question: What is your favourite TV show?

Answer: The Good Place has been a recent favourite.

Q: Who would you like to share a car with?

A: Greg Davies, I think he would be great company.

Q: The best bit of my job is…?

A: Meeting clients, talking to them and helping to find solutions, but also the internal team.

Q: And the worst?

A: Easy, timesheets!

Q: Who was your childhood hero?

A: My Dad.

Q: What’s your favourite smell?

A: Curry.

Q: Where’s your favourite place in Dorset?

A: The Isle of Purbeck.

Q: What advice would you give to anyone starting out on a career?

A: Take advantage of every opportunity and be yourself.

Q: What was your first record/CD?

A: The first Spice Girls album, Spice. I remember buying it from WHSmith in Poole!

Q: What gets you angry?

A: Nothing.

Q: Do you have a favourite piece of music?

A: ‘Chaise Longue’ by Wet Leg. It’s fun!

Q: What are the qualities you look for in a new employee?

A: Enthusiasm, honesty, willingness to learn and a sense of humour.

Q: What’s your favourite food or dish?

A: Da Mario’s pizza, they’re so tasty.

Q: Steamed sponge pudding and custard or a plate of melon?

A: Definitely sponge pudding and custard.

Q: Name the best thing about living/working in Dorset?

A: Being so close to the sea and countryside. I love getting out on my bike to experience both.

Q: If you were Prime Minister for the day what would be the first thing you do?

A: Resign, I would hate to have that job!

Q: What’s your biggest frustration?

A: At the moment, my broken arm.

Q:  Where’s your favourite holiday location?

A: Costa Rica, the place to go if you love an adventure – highly recommended.

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?

A: Who knows?! Life is for living not planning.

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: Just being me, open, honest and supporting others.
