A charity yoga event this weekend will raise funds for the #WillDoes charity, founded in memory of Will Paddy who tragically died aged 14.
Sunbeam Yoga is staging the one-hour event, from 10am until 11am,on Sunday at Hartland Stud, Soldiers Road, near Wareham.

Set up by Will’s mum, Lesley Paddy, the aim of #WillDoes is to help young people who may be finding things tough and struggling to cope with daily life.
It introduces them to sports, and other activities, to help them connect and engage socially, rather than retreat to more insular gaming and social media pastimes.
The charity works at helping young people develop coping mechanisms to manage anxiety and emotions, increase self-awareness and learn to develop trust and healthy relationships.
The ’Will Does Yoga’ one-hour ashtanga-based yoga class is tailored to suit all ages and abilities.

The emphasis is on fun, and learning how a very simple daily yoga practice can help bring a sense of calm and clarity, especially when life feels challenging and overwhelming.
Mia Coutisson, Founder of Sunbeam Yoga and Homeopathy, said: “I decided I wanted to fundraise for this important local charity and encourage people of all ages, and particularly teenagers, to come along and get the opportunity to experience the feeling of calm and connection yoga and breathing practices bring.
“You don’t have to be super bendy or fit to enjoy and benefits of yoga; it’s more about connecting with yourself through movement, observation, and breathing.
“We’re hoping for fine weather so we can join together for this lovely, relaxing and inspiring class outside in the beautiful surrounds of Hartland Stud, but, we’ll use the indoor studio if the sun has other ideas.
“We do have some spare mats if you don’t have one, so just bring yourself, a blanket, as many teens and young people as possible, and your donation, to the Will Does Yoga event at Hartland Stud.”

Lesley Paddy, Will’s mum and Founder of #WillDoes, said: “I recently started yoga with Mia and I found it gave me some calm and peace for the time I was there.
“Time for you and to rest from the crazy world we live in.
“We hope everyone from adults to kids will come along on Sunday at Hartland Stud, and gain an insight into how yoga can help, as well as help raise funds for our #WillDoes charity.”
