Inspire, the South Coast business and tax advisory firm – named the UK’s Medium Firm of the Year at the 2020 Accounting Excellence Awards – has welcomed three new team members.
Jon Huggins joins as Advisory Manager while Norma Sauramba and Jacob Cardus are appointed as Client Services Advisers.
All three are now part of the 30-strong team based at Inspire’s offices on Commercial Road in Poole.
Jon re-joins the Inspire team, after three years living and working in Canada.
Having studied at Bournemouth and Poole College, and worked locally in finance and accounting roles, Jon originally began his career with Inspire in 2013.
He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2016 and specialised in corporate finance and advisory services with the firm, before leaving for Canada.
After gaining her degree in Accounting Science at the University of South Africa, Norma completed her five-year articles of clerkship studies with BDO Zimbabwe in 2014.
She then worked in accountancy firms in Zimbabwe, before relocating to the UK with her family last year.
Norma is now looking forward to beginning her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualifications with Inspire later this year.
Jacob began his accountancy career five years ago in Southampton where he completed his AAT qualifications as an Audit Trainee.
Having always lived in Dorset, Jacob decided to continue his studies and work closer to home.
He began his qualifications as a Chartered Accountant locally and will now continue his studies, supported by the Inspire team.
Warren Munson, pictured left, Founder at Inspire, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Jon, Norma and Jacob to the Inspire team.
“They each bring a real passion and enthusiasm for their work and have settled in very quickly into their respective teams within the firm.
“By bringing in new and talented individuals to the team, we’re able to offer an even greater level of service and client delight to our fast-growing portfolio of clients.
“Jon’s corporate finance and advisory experience, in particular, will be a real asset to the team and our clients.
“Although the majority of the Inspire team continues to work remotely, we look forward to being able to welcome Jon, Norma and Jacob properly, as soon as the current restrictions allow.”
Jon said: “It’s great to be back at Inspire, I feel very fortunate to have spent the last three years working in Canada, but having made the decision to the return to the UK, the opportunity to re-join the team was one I couldn’t resist.
“I’ve really enjoyed my first few weeks back in the team and am looking forward to getting back working with local business owners on their Inspire journey.”
Founded by Warren Munson in 2004, Inspire’s goal is to establish the firm as a true employer of choice to ensure it attracts, engages and retains the top talent in its profession.
