A Dorset mum celebrated five years of her craft party business in the way she knows best – with a party!

Lexy Browning has organised 63 parties and events since launching Made By Me Craft Parties in 2014.

More than 700 children and adults have attended over the years.

The 41-year-old set up the business so it could be run around her two children, Izzy, ten and Austin, six.

It offers personalised craft parties for children, teens and adults for any event or occasion.

The parties are unique and tailored to customers’ requirements.

They can range from a dinosaur party to a unicorn-themed hot air balloon making event.

Lexy, who lives in West Moors, said: “It’s been a fantastic five years and I’d like to thank everyone for supporting me and helping to spread the craft party magic across Dorset.

“It’s great to have found a business that works around my two children, who inspire me daily with their creative party ideas.

“I am now looking forward to what the next five years will bring and launching lots more new party ideas over the coming months.”

The fifth birthday party was held to say thank you to all her customers, friends and supporters.

It also marked the launch of a new theme for the Made By Me Craft Parties range, the bear making party.

Since founding the business Lexy has won the Creative of The Year category at the Successful Women in Business Awards.

She has also launched spa parties (making bath fizzers, lip gloss and make up bag decorating) and also teamed up with Biscuits By Sarah B to create Mini Makes & Bakes toddler classes at venues across Dorset.
