Team members from a wealth management firm went up the wall – but for all the right reasons – during a charity challenge.
A ten-strong team from Peter Harding Wealth Management took on a Three Peaks Climbing Challenge at RockReef climbing attraction on Bournemouth Pier.
They were raising funds for their nominated charity of the year, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.
Sarah Ryan, Marketing Director, pictured left, said: “So much fun was had by all and we raised a significant amount at the same time too.
“We had ten staff climbers and several other staff attending to offer their support and encouragement, it was a great team effort.
“The team completed their climbs in one hour 15 minutes, climbing an impressive 3,408 metres.
“Fundraising support was achieved by climbers encouraging friends and supporters to visit a Just Giving page that was set up.
“There was also a bake sale and we had a sweepstake to predict who our fastest climber would be.
“The winner was James Pritchett who climbed a total of 545m, closely followed by Robyn Harding at 527m and in 3rd place, Richard Williams at 440m.
“We are really pleased to report that we raised in excess of £1,800 from the evening.”
Nicki Cluley, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care’s Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, pictured with colleagues Ruth Wright and Vicki Gray, said: “We are hugely grateful for this brilliant support from Peter Harding Wealth Management.
“It’s so impressive the different events and activities that they are creating to fundraise for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.
“Their commitment is helping the charity to continue to offer vital support to patients and their families facing a life limiting illness across Poole, Purbeck and East Dorset.
“We are always keen to hear from businesses interested in raising funds for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care and we would love to hear from you to discuss the variety of ways you and your team can get involved.
