He’d like to share a car with Chancellor Rishi Sunak – he grew up with him – chooses Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre as his favourite place in Dorset, loves mountains for a holiday location and would go for steamed sponge pudding and custard over melon any day.
Sanjay Saini, Managing Director, Quad Vision Ltd, takes the 20 Questions’ hotseat.
Question: What is your favourite TV show?
Answer: Formula One.
Q: Who would you like to share a car with?
A: Rishi Sunak, I grew up with him.
Q: The best bit of my job is…?
A: Seeing completed jobs and customers enjoying what we do.
Q: And the worst…?
A: When there are issues, a dissatisfied customer.
Q: Who was your childhood hero?
A: My dad.
Q: What’s your favourite smell?
A: Nag Champa (incense stick).
Q: Where’s your favourite place in Dorset?
A: Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth.
Q: What advice would you give to anyone starting out on a career?
A: Don’t treat it as a 9-5 job.
Q: What was your first record/CD?
A: A Farewell to Kings by Rush.
Q: What gets you angry?
A: When people aren’t treated equally.
Q: Do you have a favourite piece of music?
A: Not as such but as a genre it has to be rock.
Q: What are the qualities you look for in a new employee?
A: They have got to fit the Quad family.
Q: What’s your favourite food or dish?
A: Paneer.
Q: Steamed sponge pudding and custard or a plate of melon?
A: Melon? Def… steamed sponge pudding and custard.
Q: Name the best thing about living/working in Dorset?
A: The community and friendliness.
Q: If you were Prime Minister for the day what would be the first thing you do?
A: Try to revive the UK technology industry.
Q: What’s your biggest frustration?
A: I start with good intentions, but not always being able to complete my task list for the day.
Q: Where’s your favourite holiday location?
A: Snowdonia, I love a mountain.
Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?
A: Hopefully happy and enjoying life.
Q: What would you like to be remembered for?
A: Being a good father.
