High-flier Paul Moss, who spent three years working for Apprentice star Lord Sugar, has landed a top job in Dorset.

The former Amstrad sales and business development manager has been appointed Business Development Director with Poole-based B2B marketing agency Intergage.

Mr Moss has more than 30 years’ commercial experience including 25 years in the global mobile communications sector.

He has worked internationally at high level for major players including Toshiba, Novatel Wireless and latterly as director of business development at RootMetrics, the firm that provides independent mobile network performance data used by EE in its press ads and Kevin Bacon TV commercials.

Mr Moss has a strong track record in bringing innovative technology products to market for major brands including Barclaycard, Telefonica, Virgin Mobile, Vodafone, Orange, EE and BT.

He is a member of the government-backed UK5G Connected Places Working Group, advising on how best the authorities can encourage the take-up of 5G to boost business and benefit communities.

“I’m delighted to be joining Intergage. I’ve always admired its vision and its strong ethical approach to business,” he said.

“I’ve been watching Intergage closely since it was founded nearly 20 years ago and have seen how it has helped businesses to grow by leveraging technology and teamwork.

“It’s a great fit with both my professional experience and my personal ethos,” he added.

Paul Tansey, Intergage’s Managing Director, said: “Paul’s strong B2B technology sales and marketing background will be of huge benefit to our clients as we continue to help local businesses to compete nationally and internationally.”
