Organisers of the 2023 Arts by the Sea Festival are looking to work with Dorset-based businesses after last year’s event generated more than £4.2 million for the local economy.

Free and accessible for all, the annual festival brought over 104 free performances, featuring 150 performers, and provided opportunities for everyone to engage in arts culture.

It attracted more than 120,000 visitors, involving the community at every level.

The intoxicating mix of performance art, live music, dance, installations and large-scale spectacular outdoor shows is now set to return in 2023, during the last weekend in September.

Sally Turner, Business Development Manager, Destination & Culture, BCP Council, said: “The team is currently looking for sponsors, partners and volunteers who can help support this inspirational and diverse celebration of the arts.

“It features intriguing, inspirational and family friendly performances and installations, in the heart of Bournemouth and surrounding areas of Christchurch and Poole.

“If you’re local to Dorset and would like to become one of our featured partners – or simply want to be involved in some way – please get in touch about working together.

“There are huge opportunities for brand exposure and engagement for your business to our festival audience, predominently South Coast and London-based.”

This year’s festival is from Friday September 29 to Sunday October 1.
