The total put towards Mountbatten Hampshire came to £12,045.54 over course of the year, helping to sustain the charity’s crucial work in providing bereavement support and compassionate care to patients and their families during end-of-life treatment.

Salisbury Hospice received a donation of £7,395.55, with a team of Trethowans runners planning to run in the upcoming New Forest Marathon Event on 8 September 2024.

Maxine Read, who heads up the charities and CSR committee at Trethowans, said: “This year marks the third year of support for our chosen charities.

“Our team has shown incredible dedication to fundraising, with efforts continuing into 2024.

“In May, a Trethowans team took on the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge, walking 34km to 100km along the breathtaking coast.

“Their efforts raised a further £3,300 for Dorset Mind, a fantastic start to our third year of support.”

Trethowans partners also took part this year in a CSR day supporting Diverse Abilities, a Dorset charity for children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities.
