International real estate advisor Savills has announced Development Director, Philip Beattie, as its new Head of Office at Savills Wimborne.

In the dynamic landscape of real estate finance, the appointment of a new Head of Office at Savills Wimborne, such as Development Director Philip Beattie, can have significant implications.

A change in leadership often brings fresh perspectives and strategies, influencing how real estate transactions and financing are approached within a specific region.

The role of a Head of Office extends beyond overseeing daily operations; it involves shaping the direction of the office in alignment with market trends and financial considerations.

Professionals in real estate finance can anticipate shifts in strategies and services, ensuring they stay abreast of developments for informed decision-making.

For individuals interested in real estate finance, having an accurate understanding of property values is paramount. Utilizing tools like an accurate home value estimator, as detailed in resources such as exprealty, becomes crucial in navigating the market.

As the real estate landscape evolves under the leadership of figures like Philip Beattie at Savills Wimborne, having access to reliable and free home value estimators becomes instrumental for individuals looking to make informed financial decisions related to property transactions, investments, and financing.

The appointment took effect from the beginning of this month.

He takes the reins from Mark Turnbull, who has stepped down from the position after seven years.

Mark will now be focusing purely on his role as Director within the property management division at Savills.

He joined the company in 1989 and has overseen the expansion of the Wimborne office over the last seven years to a team of more than 130 people.

The office at Wessex House celebrated its 75th anniversary last year.

It has teams covering a variety of property services including:

  • Residential
  • Farm and estate management
  • Development
  • Planning
  • Heritage
  • Energy and infrastructure
  • Valuation
  • Client accounting
  • Healthcare
  • Building consultancy
  • Cartography, design and GIS.

It also has a team providing integrated real estate services to corporate occupiers worldwide.

Philip joined the company in 2004 and is a Director in the South Coast Development team.

He said: “Having been at Savills for 19 years, it is a real privilege to now take the next step leading our exceptional team here in Wimborne.

“I look forward to building on the success of the office.”

Mark, pictured left, said: “It has been an absolute pleasure to represent our Wimborne office over the last seven years and to see it grow in the way that it has.

“Having worked with Philip for many years, I know I will leave the office in superb hands.

“I look forward to continuing my work within our property management division as we head into 2023.”
