Just under a year after bringing her daughter into the world, Laura Donegan also gave birth to her new business.
Baby Mama No Drama offers hypnobirthing classes, helping women to remain calm, positive and focused during birth.

It was inspired by what the 29-year-old describes as the “incredibly positive” birth of Klara in September 2021.
Laura, who lives in Christchurch, said: “As a first time mum I was apprehensive and nervous about birth.
“I found some reading materials about hypnobirthing and can, hand on heart, say this is what changed everything for me.
“Being able to gain an understanding of what my body is actually capable of, and how I can support it to do its magic of birthing my baby, enabled me to go into labour feeling positive, confident and excited.
“After having Klara, I was on what can only be described as a euphoric high for about six months afterwards.
“This was all thanks to the hypnobirthing techniques I used in labour and how I feel my birth went.
“In the weeks and months that followed my birth, I would look forward to people asking me how my birth was.
“When I told them it was an indescribable, amazing sensation I was always met with funny looks, shocked reactions and the question of ‘are you crazy!?
“This is what has led me to walk away from a career in financial services to retrain with The Little Birth Company as one of their hypnobirthing instructors.
“Changing how people view birth and helping you feel confident, calm and excited ahead of your own labour is something I am truly passionate about.”

Laura, pictured left with her husband, Ian, and Klara, used her maternity leave to retrain as a hypnobirthing instructor.
She qualified in July this year and launched Baby Mama No Drama.
It helps support parents to be with group classes as well as 1:1 sessions which can be taught online.
Laura was named ‘Instructor of the Month” for December by her trainers, The Little Birth Company, which has instructors worldwide.
She said: “Having only qualified in July, I’m super proud to have been awarded this and just can’t wait to help even more pregnant families.
“To celebrate this I have currently got discounts across all of my sessions for December.
“My next group classes start on January 16, 2023.
“It’s a fantastic way to get excited, informed and, more importantly, make friends with fellow parents to be.”
