Lucy Funnell, Corporate Development Executive at Lighthouse, said: “Having worked with Volvo Cars Poole last year, we are excited to recharge the partnership and power up this ambitious plan.”

“Sustainability is central to everything we do at Lighthouse and, as energy costs soar, the traditional tungsten lighting in our Theatre is being phased out in favour of LED lighting.

“Not only does this help future-proof Lighthouse, it reduces energy usage, cuts costs and saves time replacing blown lamps.

“Lighthouse exists to deliver a wide range of high quality shows and world class cultural experiences to our community, and this new partnership with Volvo Cars Poole helps us keep the lights burning brightly… and efficiently!”

Volvo Cars has been a sustainability leader since the 1940s, so for the team in Poole this new partnership was a natural fit.

Head of Business Leanne Ledger added: “As a locally owned business, it’s a pleasure to support Lighthouse Poole as Official Energy Partner.

“Our shared values of sustainability and supporting the local community make this a perfect partnership and I look forward to working together.”
