It’s billed as the fitness platform for busy people.

A new wellness initiative has launched in Dorset promising fitness, mindfulness and healthier living – and all in the space of just 15 minutes a day.

According to fitness professional Lynsey Suzanne Treharne and sports product business owner Emma Burke, that’s all you need to create a wellness plan that will have you fitter, calmer and living a healthier lifestyle.

The Dorset-based businesswomen have created a fitness platform that allows you to fit workouts – ranging from strength-based to dance classes, meditation and yoga sessions – into your coffee break.

The duo say the breakout platform, called Fitness in 15, is designed for today’s busy world.

Both saw a need to develop workouts and routines that suit those that have limited time.

Lynsey said: “Fitness in 15 started as a response to the nationwide lockdown.

“As a personal trainer, I wanted to create an accessible fitness programme that people could easily commit to.

“Life was already stressful enough for so many, with the switch to home-working, home-learning and curtailed outside time.

“The idea of the 15-minute sessions was to make exercise bite-sized.

“It doesn’t feel like you have to invest loads of time but you can create a routine you can stick to.

“So far, we’re hearing impressive results from users.”

The concept is simple:

  • Log on to the website
  • Select from over 100 different 15-minute micro-workouts.
  • Do your thing. You can do just one session, or you can combine them to create your ideal fitness regime.

As the platform is web-based, it can be accessed anywhere in the world on any device.

Emma, pictured right, and Lynsey say Fitness in 15 already has a large community of users, ranging from parents that find it hard to get time to go to classes or the gym, to those that want the flexibility of working out at home or the office.

There’s also been interest from SMEs in using the platform as an employee perk as it helps boost energy levels, concentration and general wellness.

The team have developed a corporate package to meet the needs of employers in Dorset and further afield.

Currently Fitness in 15 is offering a discount of 60 per cent off your first year’s subscription.

For just £49.99 (usually £120), you can have access to more than 100 carefully constructed workouts including HIIT, yoga, strength conditioning and dance.

Also included in your membership is a library of recipes, expert advice and the first look at new content.
