Promotion for Kelly as Southern Contracts sees the biggest growth since its formation 60 years ago

Southern Contracts logoA new director has been appointed by Southern Contracts, the Bournemouth-based commercial laundry and kitchen appliance provider.

Kelly Young joined the team in 2021 and was previously an Office Administrator but has now been promoted to Executive Sales Director.

Starting her career with a distinction in BTEC National Diploma in Uniformed Public Services, Kelly worked for her former employer for ten years.

“We have been impressed with her friendly contribution to our team and she has been excellent in dealing with many of our larger clients.

“We are delighted that she has accepted the new role based on evidence that she is an ideal fit for her new title.”

Kelly’s promotion, and the expansion of the team, follows a rise in demand for Southern Contracts’ services and products over the past few years.

The family-run business is currently experiencing the largest growth since its formation 60 years ago.

It is now one of the UK’s leading suppliers of industrial laundry equipment, catering and commercial cleaning equipment for offshore, marine and onshore businesses.
