A Dorset storage company has been awarded an internationally-recognised certificate acknowledging its customer-focused approach.

It means Store & Secure now officially exceeds the standard across all its areas of operations.

The certificate – EN:15696 – covers, among other things, the premises, individual units, call handling, contracts, after sales service, risk management, operations and human resources.

Situated in Hamworthy, Poole, Store & Secure provides a wide range of storage for personal and commercial customers.

The facility, run by sisters Lucy and Sophie Maidman, also has serviced offices.

Lucy said: “Being a family business we consider that our levels of service and customer-focused approach sets us apart from other storage businesses.

“The facility – Joyce House – was named after our late mother and having been brought up here we have a special attachment to the area.

“Being re-awarded this certification demonstrates our commitment to being customer-focused and we love people dropping in for a cup of tea and a natter.

“We have also had our Cyber Essentials certification renewed.

“While physical security is obviously something that is fundamental to the business, cyber-security is also crucial.

“The information we have is as well protected as it can be and that also gives great reassurance to our clients.

“Now this facility is running well since we opened it we are looking for new sites in the region.

“We want to replicate this model and offer the same high level of service in a different area.”
