He’d like to share a car with the late Kenny Everett, says the worst bit of his job is working from home “because I’m a people person” and chooses steak and ale pie (with chips, of course!) as his favourite dish.

Steve Bulley, Business Consultant with Transformational Business Support (WSX), Owner of Wessex Pat Testing and Director of KeeP106, the radio station for Dorchester, takes the ‘hot seat’ for our popular 20 Questions.

Question: What is your favourite TV show?

Answer: The Sweeney. I love the car chases!

Q: Who would you like to share a car with?

A: The late Kenny Everett. So many questions to ask.

Q: The best bit of my job is…?

A: Getting the calls/emails from clients who have taken on an idea you suggested and made it their own.

Q: And the worst?

A: Working from home as I’m a people person.

Q: What’s your favourite smell?

A: Petrol (strange I know!).

Q: Where’s your favourite place in Dorset?

A: Swanage. I volunteer at the steam railway and the town is so unspoilt.

Q: What advice would you give to anyone starting out on a career?

A: Trust your instinct.

Q: What was your first record/CD?

A: ‘Brothers in Arms’, studio album by Dire Straits.

Q: What gets you angry?

A: Selfish people.

Q: Do you have a favourite piece of music?

A: ‘Song for Guy’ by Elton John.

Q: What are the qualities you look for in a new employee?

A: Honesty, hardworking and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Q: What’s your favourite food or dish?

A: Steak and ale pie (with chips of course!).

Q: Steamed sponge pudding and custard or a plate of melon?

A: Neither, rice pudding.

Q: Name the best thing about living/working in Dorset?

A: The countryside.

Q: If you were Prime Minister for the day what would be the first thing you do?

A: Ensure that everyone had a roof over their head, food on the table and could heat their home.

Q: What’s your biggest frustration?

A: I’m a procrastinator.

Q:  Where’s your favourite holiday location?

A: The Algarve.

Q: Where do you see yourself in ten years’ time?

A: Retired, I hope!

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: Having a kind heart, albeit misguided at times.
