Frettens continues to grow its family law offering with the arrival of Olivia Le Masurier at the firm’s Christchurch offices.
Olivia joins Frettens following 10 years spent at a local practice, during which time she built up a wealth of experience representing clients in both matrimonial and child matters, including divorce, financial orders and spousal maintenance.
She has also been involved in more complex areas of family law, such as representing applicants in high-net financial remedy proceedings and assisting clients in applying for parental responsibility.
Managing Partner Matthew Fretten said: “Olivia is exactly the sort of person we look for at Frettens – an excellent lawyer who is bright and personable.
“We’re delighted she’s chosen to join us at what is a very exciting time for the firm, and she’s already started to fit in wonderfully well.
“Since the start of this financial year, we’ve yet again seen an influx in new faces at the firm as we aim to step up our recruitment efforts going forwards.”
Olivia’s arrival follows the appointment of Katelyn Webster and Sarah Lightfoot-Webber to the family team around this time last year – growth which has been welcomed by Partner and Head of Family Andy Stynes.
He said: “Olivia is certainly a welcome addition to the team, adding to the number of lawyers in this busy department.
“We look forward to seeing the impact that Olivia has in the team as she brings with her vast experience and knowledge of family law.”
Olivia added: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have joined Frettens.
“The firm has a strong reputation for being a friendly and forward-thinking place to work, and I certainly haven’t been disappointed.
“I’ve received the warmest of welcomes not only from the very talented family team, but from everyone here.
“It’s clear to see why the firm has the reputation it does and I’m excited to be part of such a dynamic and progressive team.”
It’s been a busy month for existing staff at Frettens too, as the firm made eight promotions to kick off the current financial year – to be announced shortly.
