Feeling stuck in your business?

Want to take your company to the next level but unsure where to start?

A brand new series of free masterclasses is launching to help Dorset businesses in the digital, creative and tech sectors navigate the challenges of growth and achieve their goals.

The Business Masterclass Series is delivered by Silicon South in partnership with the Boscombe Digital Skills Hub and Dorset LEP.

The interactive workshops, designed for senior leaders and decision-makers, will guide participants through a series of critical topics, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to:

  • Define vision, purpose and values: Establish a clear roadmap for your business and build a strong foundation for future growth.
  • Develop a winning strategy: Set measurable goals and create a plan to achieve them, from long-term ambitions to short-term milestones.
  • Craft a compelling value proposition: Understand what motivates customers and ensure your offerings resonate with their needs.
  • Identify the ideal customer: Learn how to attract and retain the right customers for your business.
  • Develop a targeted marketing plan: Reach the ideal audience with the right message at the right time.

Each masterclass runs at the Digital Skills Hub at 30-32 Royal Arcade, Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, BH1 4BT, from 9:30am to 12:00pm.

It can be attended individually or as part of the complete series.

The programme offers ongoing support for businesses at various stages of growth.

The first class – ‘Personal Goals & Motivations’ –  kicks off on June 12.

Six more classes will follow each month until January 2025.

Cathleen Malone, Programme Manager at Silicon South, pictured left, said: “These masterclasses are designed to provide local businesses with additional practical tools and knowledge to help them do well in today’s competitive and dynamic landscape.

“We’re so excited to offer this valuable resource to our community.

“Doing what we can to help Dorset locals grow and sustain businesses they’re really proud of is a great feeling.”

Space is limited for the masterclasses.
