Come along and grab a fantastic – and sustainable – bargain!
The message from Lewis-Manning Hospice Care which opens its new House Clearance Shop at 288 Lymington Road, Highcliffe, this Thursday, April 25, at 11am.
The charity is inviting the local community to come along and meet the team, enjoy some refreshments and look around the shop.
The hospice’s ninth store is opening due to the ever-growing demand for its house clearance services and sustainable goods as well as the increased need to raise funds for its vital services.
Susan Newcombe, Director of Retail, said: “We are delighted to have secured such a prominent location in this busy part of Highcliffe, with its reputation for being a second-hand searcher’s dream location.
“It’s a great opportunity to let shoppers know about our house clearance and recycling services and how we turn preloved items into extraordinary hospice care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones across Poole, Purbeck, East Dorset and West Hampshire.
“We’d like to thank the many businesses who have supported us in preparing for our opening, with special mention to Goadsbys, Frettens Solicitors, Bradlea Builders, MBE Martin Barker Electrical Ltd, and Shadow Design (Print & Signage).
“Moving, downsizing or house clearing may be a very stressful time, and our aim is to reduce that stress as much as possible.
“We offer flexible, complete or partial house clearances and recycling services.
“If you have any preloved items or goods, we can offset the value of them against the clearance costs.”
“If you have a few hours to spare and would like to be part of the shop team, please have a look at our volunteering roles at lewis-manning.org.uk/volunteer-vacancies.”
