Hoburne Holiday Park in Christchurch raised £5,479 for its nominated charity, Dorset Mind, in 2023.
The Hoburne Park team enlisted staff, holiday makers and owners to get involved in a number of fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds to support the self-funded local charity which helps people in Dorset experiencing mental health problems.
Natalie Castagna, customer experience manager at Hoburne Park, said: “Every year, Dorset Mind helps approximately 14,700 people in Dorset with their mental health by providing a range of vital support services for adults and young people and we are delighted to be in a position where we can support the charity.”
The funds raised will help deliver life-changing mental health services in Dorset and ensure that everyone across the county has access to the services, no matter what.
Evie Battistini, corporate and community fundraising officer added: “It has been an absolute pleasure working with Hoburne Park. Natalie and the team have been really creative with their fundraising ideas, and we’ve loved seeing them come to life!
“This incredible donation could fund 366 one-to-one Mentoring Minds sessions, which helps individuals overcome isolation and loneliness caused by anxiety or depression. Thank you so much to Natalie, the rest of the team and Hoburne’s customers that generously donated to Dorset Mind.”
