Two companies based at Bournemouth Airport’s Aviation Business Park are sponsoring AFC Bournemouth’s expanding Premier League Kicks programme in Christchurch for the third year running.

AIM Altitude and Curtiss-Wright jointly sponsor the Premier League club’s expanding programme.

They’ve now signed on again as an official partner of the self-funding, non-profit Community Sports Trust.

The Trust runs the hugely successful Premier League-backed scheme locally and popular Cherries defender Adam Smith is the club’s ambassador for the Christchurch region.

Amy Marks, the club’s Partnerships Manager, said: “Our Premier League Kicks project in Christchurch has doubled in size over the past year and our partnership with businesses such as AIM Altitude and Curtiss Wright enables us to reach out to so many more youngsters. It is brilliant having them both on board again.

“Last season more than 1,550 young people took part in our Premier League Kicks sessions, which encourages them to get involved in playing sports in the evenings and sees them benefit from a healthier lifestyle, improved well-being and, most importantly, offers them a safe environment to enjoy themselves.”

AIM Altitude and Curtiss Wright staff will have the opportunity to engage in the Christchurch sessions as well as having a presence and advertising at the Vitality stadium.
