Frettens has announced four promotions across its conveyancing and corporate & commercial teams to ring in the new year.
Zoe Watson, who joined the firm in late 2022, has risen from solicitor to associate, becoming the third member in Frettens’ commercial department at associate level or higher.
Another three promotions all came within the conveyancing team – Laura Mabin, Charlotte Pottinger and Edward Carter.
Both Laura and Charlotte are now associates, with Laura having just passed her CILEx in October 2023.
And Edward is now a conveyancing paralegal, which will see him continue to assist Charlotte with all aspects of residential sales and purchases.
Matthew Fretten, managing partner, said: “Zoe, Laura, Charlotte and Eddie have all shown incredible hard work and dedication since joining us and are thoroughly deserving of recognition.
“At Frettens, we place a lot of importance on career progression, so to be able to reward staff with development opportunities such as these is fantastic.”
Clare Hallett, head of conveyancing, added: “The conveyancing team and I are so pleased that Laura, Charlotte and Eddie have been recognised in the latest round of promotions.
“The trio are fantastic at what they do and have had a real impact on the department’s success in recent years, so it’s amazing to see them rewarded and the team continue to flourish.
“With a host of new starters last year, and a quartet of promotions to kick off 2025, it’s certainly an exciting time to work at Frettens.”
