Making children’s animation cool - Smoothe Mixx Music Media & Powerkids Entertainment team up

He’s known as ‘Mr Cool’ and now Bournemouth’s Roy Smoothe has joined forces with Powerkids Entertainment (Singapore) Ltd in one very cool deal.

His international music label, Smoothe Mixx Music Media, is to create Cuddle Cubbies Music Mixx.

The series of catchy songs and videos will teach kids daily life lessons and rhymes in a fun and engaging way.

The animated series is based on Powerkids’ IP Cuddle Cubbies.

The Cuddle Cubbies animated show features adorable animal cubs and has won the hearts of kids around the world.

With Cuddle Cubbies Music Mixx, Powerkids and Smoothe Mixx Music Media say they’ll be taking the show to the next level by incorporating upbeat music, lyrics, and choreography to make learning an enjoyable experience.

The deal follows multiple meetings at Powerkids HQ in Hyderabad and attendance at the MIP TV festival in Cannes.

The debut songs and videos from this new series have been released on Powerkids TV channels.

The two companies will launch 52 musical compilations from the series on various music and streaming platforms worldwide, along with a new Powerkids Music channel where kids can find all the best musical content from the collaboration.

Manoj Mishra, Powerkids Entertainment CEO, said: “Cuddle Cubbies Music Mixx will resonate strongly with both kids and parents and will inspire love of learning and mesmerising music.”

Roy said: “We are thrilled to embark on this collaboration with Cuddle Cubbies.

“Together, we are committed to delivering unparalleled music and entertainment experiences to our cherished fans.”

As part of the collaboration, the two companies plan to launch a designer clothing range and merchandise based on the franchise Cuddle Cubbies.

Roy will drive the development of the music and merchandise with the target of global representation. .

He’ll direct the development of Cuddle Cubbies into new product categories while also strategically extending and catapulting Cuddle Cubbies brand footprint around the world.
