The big guns in tribute acts will be rolling out for three concerts at The Tank Museum.

Tickets for a series of brand new outdoor concerts with ABBA, Queen and ELO tribute acts are now on general sale.

The MRC Presents’ inaugural Open Air Concerts will take place from Friday 22 to Sunday July 24.

They feature a different tribute act each evening at the popular Dorset attraction’s outdoor event arena at Bovington.

Kicking things off on Friday July 22 is Waterloo – The Best of ABBA, which looks back at the rise to stardom of the Swedish pop group.

The show is promising to capture the unique ABBA sound and feel with attention to detail by a full live cast and band coupled with colourful costumes and breath-taking choreography.

Next up on Saturday July 23 is Queen Rhapsody, described as the ultimate live concert experience paying tribute to the legend that is Queen.

Hailed as a passionate and thrilling show, Queen Rhapsody recreates the majesty of arguably rock’s greatest ever band.

Performing hits from every decade of Queen’s musical legacy, promotors say the all new live spectacle faithfully recreates the energy, showmanship and emotion of a classic Queen concert.

The final act under the stars is ELO Again on Sunday July 24.

The show celebrates the universal music of Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra, providing a taste of what a legendary ELO concert would have been like back in their heyday.

Audience members can expect all the big hits, professionally re-enacted with impressive sound reproduction, light show and visual effects.

Chris Jenkins, MRC Presents Director, pictured left, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing our brand new Open Air Concerts concept to such an iconic Dorset venue.

“These shows, each celebrating a legendary music act, regularly wow theatre audiences up and down the country, but it’s really exciting to place these theatre-quality productions in a very different setting.

“The three acts cater to a range of music tastes and we look forward to welcoming fans new and old to our inaugural Open Air Concerts.”

Tickets cost £30 per person (per concert) and are available to book via showplanr.com/TANK.

There are no additional booking fees or service charges and, for added peace of mind, every booking is covered by Secure My Booking’s Ticket Refund Protection at no extra cost (T&Cs apply).

Gates open at 6pm each evening with food and drink available to purchase on-site and the concerts all starting at approximately 8pm.

On-site parking is free for ticket holders.
