“Truly heartwarming.”

The words of Bradley Williams, Managing Director of the Unique Group, after its annual charity golf day raised more than £13,000 for MYTIME Young Carers.

Held at Remedy Oak Golf Club it saw 84 participants across 21 teams come together for a day of friendly competition and community spirit.

The players included ex-Premier League legend Kevin Davies.

The day had plenty of highlights:

  • Josh Williams from Bizpedia achieved a hole-in-one and generously bought a drink for everyone playing.
  • A new ‘Beat the Amateur’ competition led by Dan Morris and Daniel Johnson from MYTIME Young Careers raised unexpected additional funds.
  • The joint Unique and MYTIME team secured a solid third place but Dan and Dave Griggs’ team from The Funky Peach took the top spot.

The funds raised are expected to significantly support MYTIME Young Carers’ mission to level the playing field for young carers, providing essential resources and support.

Bradley said: “The atmosphere throughout the day was incredible.

“The support and generosity of everyone involved are truly heartwarming.

“We’re already looking forward to next year’s event – on June 17, 2025 – which we aim to make even better.”
