This is what you call brrr..ave.
Thirty hardy souls turned out on Christmas Eve for Win the morning Win the day.

As first reported on Dorset Biz News, Heather Ashley launched Poole’s version of the now international initiative in October.
It involves a two mile walk/jog and a dip in the sea, although all are optional.
Win the morning Win the day was initially set up on social media in August by Chris Reeves, a Royal Navy Physical Trainer in Gosport.
It has since led to groups forming across the UK and even as far afield as Bahrain.

Heather, who is a Director of Heather Ashley Health & Fitness, said: “Since starting this free weekly event only two months ago I’m excited to say our numbers keep growing and growing.
“We have familiar faces each week as well as new ones.
“The purpose behind the event is to get people up early in the morning, meet people and get out of their comfort zones whilst feeling great.
“We start with a light jog/walk to warm up before getting into the sea.
“As well as getting out of your comfort zone, cold water therapy is so good for us.
“It’s been linked to improving mental health, cardio vascular system, boosting our immune system, as well as improving weight loss.
“Oh and the best bit, you feel amazing afterwards once all the natural feel-good chemicals kick in!
“I only started cold water therapy earlier this year and am now on a mission to share the incredible benefits it brings.
“Especially as we have such a beautiful natural resource right here on our doorstep.”

As well as being a health coach, nutritional therapist and physical trainer, Heather is also training to be a Wim Hof instructor.
Wim Hof, also known as The Iceman, is a Dutch extreme athlete noted for his ability to withstand freezing temperatures.
Heather said: “I’m always looking for new strategies to use on myself and clients that provide a sustainable and fun approach to being our strongest, healthiest happiest selves.”
