Dorset success story Mar-Key Group has hailed 2023 as one of the most significant in its 32-year history.

The Christchurch-based temporary structure manufacturer has thanked its clients and ‘incredible team’ for a momentous 12 months.

Highlights from the past year include the first client delivery of its new structure, The Horizon, to the waterfront of Port Vell Marina, Barcelona, just six months after building the first prototype.

• Building its two largest projects to date – and simultaneously. Alongside the delivery in Barcelona, the company’s teams in the UK also delivered its largest ever temporary warehouse, equating to a combined 4,900 square metres of floor space, for Global Warehousing & Storage on Humberside.

  The Adelaide 500 grandstand sunshade

  Installing more than 6,500 square metres of temporary structure space for client Star Live at the Championships at Wimbledon for the first time.

• Designing, manufacturing, exporting and consulting on the installation of a grandstand sunshade for the Adelaide 500 annual motor racing event in Australia.
• Opening its new manufacturing and head office facility in Christchurch, including the movement of all machinery to the new hub.
• Securing investment from Alcuin Capital Partners which will allow Mar-Key Group to continue its growth trajectory.

The company also continued to deliver a range of multi-year contracts and new buildings to businesses across the UK throughout the year.
