Santa Paws comes to Margaret Green Animal Rescue

Margaret Green Animal Rescue is hosting a Santa Paws Grotto for the first time at its Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre.

The event, on Sunday December 4 from 10am – 3pm,  will provide the perfect opportunity to have a professional photo of your pet taken with Santa.

Various photosizes will be available, priced at £12 and £15, which will be printed there and then and ready to take home on the day.

A selection of hot drinks will be available, as well as the chance to purchase Winter Grand Draw tickets.

Supporters will also have the chance to make a wish or leave a tribute to a loved one on the charity’s Celebration Christmas Tree.

Free parking will be available on-site.

Proceeds will go to the charity.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue rescues and rehomes over 1,200 animals a year with three sites including two in Dorset.

Church Knowle, near Wareham, is for cats and field animals, including horses, donkeys and goats and small animals, such as rabbits and chickens, while Lincoln Farm near Blandford is for dogs.

The charity has expessed its thanks to Steve Cole Photography for supporting the Santa Paws Grotto by being its photographer on the day.

Raw food specialist named Best Pet Care Business in the South West

Family-run Nurturing by Nature has been voted Best Pet Care Business at the South West Business Awards 2022.

The Upton-based business, founded by Nettie Platt in 2006,  produces high-quality raw food for dogs and cats .

It is sold in its shops in Upton, West Moors and Pamphill and also delivered across the UK on a next-day basis.

The award, part of the Englands Business Awards, is voted for by customers, both in-store and online, and endorsed through mystery shoppers.

Adam Morris, Managing Director, and fellow Director Emma Platt, pictured left, received the award at a ceremony in Bristol.

• Nurturing By Nature is raising money for Friends Of Wessex Assisting Dogs by hosting a Santa Paws Grotto at its Pamphill store, located at Pamphill Dairy Farm. The grotto is open during normal store hours from now until Christmas Eve.

Successful Goadsby deals in Christchurch and Poole

Wealth management company Lewis Investments has added to its portfolio with an industrial warehouse unit in Christchurch.
