Sign up for first-ever pier to pier Santa Dash

It promises to be a cracker of an event – and there’s still time to sign up.

Bournemouth Christmas Market has teamed up with Julia’s House for the first-ever pier to pier Santa Dash.

The 5k walk or run, dressed in optional Santa costume, is held on Sunday November 27 at 10am.

You can choose to complete the route on your own or as a family group (children under 5 can join in for free).

There’s also a chance to win a PlayStation 5, worth around £500, by setting up a JustGiving page and raising at least £75.

Eleven jobs created as Lakeland opens new store

Lakeland’s new store at Hillier Garden Centre in Three Legged Cross is now fully open.

Eleven new jobs have been created.

From humble beginnings in the heart of the Lake District, Lakeland now has 68 stores nationwide in the UK.

It specialises in new ideas and tried-and-tested solutions for the kitchen and home.

Emma Kay, Head of Property at Lakeland, described the new store as a “fantastic centre”.

She added: “We have many loyal customers in this area who will welcome the opening.”

‘Fireside chat’ will help connect the dots for your customers
