Members of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance team will be taking part in a charity football match against their Thames Valley colleagues.

The event, which will take place at 1pm on Saturday 15th June at the County Ground, Hamworthy, in Poole, will raise funds which will be split between both charities.

The Hamworthy Club will be open, offering a variety of refreshments, and parking is on site or at a nearby school.

Tickets, which will be available on the gate, are £3 for adults and £1 for children.

Alana Hardy, DSAA Fundraising Events Officer said: “We are so excited to be taking part in this special event. Thames Valley Air Ambulance have a charity football team that travel all over the UK, playing in games such as this.

“However, it’s the first time we’ve stepped up to the plate and have risen to the challenge.

“The event is going to be a great day out for all the family and raising funds for two life-saving charities such as ours.

“We are really excited to be involved and want to thank Dorset FA once again for all their support.

“They’ve been brilliant in enabling this to happen, even buying our brand new kit, which we are excited to wear.”
