A Gala Ball for one of Dorset’s best-known charities raised more than £89,000 in ticket sales, auctions, raffles and donations.
Diverse Abilities adopted an ‘Under the Sea’ theme for the event held at Lighthouse Poole and sponsored by Franses Jewellers.
A glittering drinks reception was followed by a night of fine dining, live music from Jodie Elms and Funky Dumpty, auctions, games and a DJ, keeping everyone dancing until late.
Other sponsors included Colten Care, Freo Wellbeing, Dolphin Shopping Centre and Forelle Estates.
Proceeds from the Gala Ball will support children and adults with physical and learning disabilities across Dorset.

“Their generosity not only helps us make a significant impact but also empowers us to raise substantial funds for the invaluable cause of aiding children and adults with disabilities in Dorset.”
