LinkedIn Local makes its return to Village Hotel Bournemouth next month.

The quarterly not-for-profit event offers local professionals the chance to meet their LinkedIn connections offline in an informal setting – all while raising money for a good cause.

Bournemouth’s own iteration of the global LinkedIn Local brand began in 2018 and has taken guests in years past to a Sandbanks house party, Barclays Eagle Labs and the Volvo and Audi showrooms.

This year’s event is hosted by Beverley Poole, with Vissensa IT as sponsors and MYTIME Young Carers as the chosen charity.

MYTIME is currently raising for a circus skills day for its young carers on Friday 2 August – a four-hour workshop featuring tightropes, juggling, stilts and more.

Beyond administration, all ticket money from LinkedInLocal will go towards the £700 circus hire cost and £300 extra for catering and transport required on the day.

Also included in the ticket price are welcome drinks and canapes.

Guests are encouraged to bring along business cards, brochures, QR codes and merchandise for one of six ‘showcase tables’ – available at a charge of £45.

The event takes place from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday 11 July, during which time guests will hear from Vissensa CEO Steve Groom and guest speaker Luke Williams from Intergage.
