Realm Runner Studios is celebrating the fourth release of its fantasy card game Achroma and the opening of its new shop on Poole Quay.
The Achroma shop and café, at Dolphin Quays, opened its doors on November 5 with the grand launch planned for this Saturday, November 19.
Realm Runner Studios, an independent, self-funded studio in Poole, was founded in 2019 by a group of friends who wanted to bring something fresh and progressive to collectable card games.

Their first product, Achroma: The Curse of Curdle Hill, was released late last year.
Sitting somewhere between Pokémon and Magic The Gathering, Achroma has attracted a diverse player base.
Tens of thousands of Achroma cards have been sold and more than a thousand app users registered.

Tabletop gaming fans can visit the shop and gaming café to see and buy the Achroma products on display.
They can also play the game and hang out with other like-minded gamers.
The shop doubles up as Realm Runner Studios HQ with the Achroma team working out of the location, meaning they’re on hand to answer any questions players have.
Regular weekly gaming events are lined up with more special events planned for the run-up to Christmas and beyond.

Jack Constantine, Co-Founder of Realm Runner Studios, said he hoped the new Achroma shop would provide a long sought-after hangout for gamers in the area as well as an inspiring base of operations for the Realm Runner Studios team.
He added: “Achroma is all about getting together with friends, socialising and having fun.
“Our new shop is the embodiment of this.
“A space where you can get together with your friends, enjoy a game, relax on the sofa and chat over coffee.”

Gamers young and old are very welcome to attend Saturday’s Grand Opening from 10am to 10pm.
Billed as a celebration, Realm Runner Studios say it’s a chance for the thriving Achroma community to get together, play and hang out.
There’ll be prizes for Achroma-related cosplay, a raffle, special offers and demos with the team for anyone who would like to learn to play.
