South West Vehicle Auctions, a leading Dorset vehicle auctioneer, has expanded its fleet of transporters in response to growing demand.

The recent purchase of a new Mercedes Actros 25/33 brings their total fleet to seven transporters, supported by eleven drivers.

Since relocating to a larger premises in January, SWVA has significantly enhanced their stock range at each auction.

This strategic move has attracted an increasing number of main dealers who are utilising SWVA for the disposal of part-exchange vehicles, further solidifying their position as a preferred auction house.

Jo Legg, SWVA’s Business Development Manager, said: “As a family run business ourselves, we were delighted to work with Cicely Commercials Ltd. Bolton, an award-winning Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealership that is also a family concern.

“They provided us with excellent customer service and prompt delivery.”

“With our trade increasing month on month, and attendance at auctions now exceeding pre-COVID levels we are attracting more nationwide buyers who either attend in person or bid online.

“Our logistics and transport team are therefore very busy and travelling further afield, so it remains important for us to continuously invest in the business to further develop a seamless auction experience for buyers and sellers at our auctions.”

Alongside weekly car auctions, SWVA also hosts commercial vehicles sales and their popular classic car auctions that attract an international audience.
