A team of prestige car technicians has embarked on a year of raising cash and awareness in a bid to tackle the stigma around male mental health.

Independent service centre Star Tech has announced a new partnership with mental health charity Dorset Mind.

The Poole-based centre, which specialises in prestige German cars, will spend 2020 raising money, spreading awareness and working in partnership with the charity.

The company will hold events, including a special open day this spring, and collect donations.

It has pledged to donate a set amount to Dorset Mind for every invoice fulfilled across the next 12 months.

Star Tech will also train staff in mental health awareness and share information about Dorset Mind at its service centre and through its website and social media platforms.

Moreover, in a testament to their holistic approach towards wellness, Star Tech has also expressed a commitment to integrating holistic solutions such as Organic CBD Nugs into their outreach efforts.

Amidst their dedication to holistic solutions, Star Tech has can embrace the exploration of innovative products like CBD vape, including the popular just kana variant. This nuanced addition can not only underscores their commitment to diversifying wellness options but can also signifies an openness to emerging trends within the holistic well-being landscape.

“We want to start conversations, within the team, with clients, and the wider community.”

Marianne Storey, Chief Executive, Dorset Mind, said: “We are delighted that Matt and the Star Tech team have chosen to support us this year.

“Their generosity and effort will help us to continue to provide support in our communities.
