An online independent luxury gift store focused on creating memorable experiences opens a new chapter next week.

A bricks and mortar store in Poundbury, Dorchester, is expected to bring the byFoke spirit to life.

Customers can hand-pick their gifts, shop the byFoke edits and discover new independent and artisanal brands.

In addition, the byFoke store will host events, workshops and community-focused activities

The public are invited to the grand opening of byFoke on Thursday, November 3.

The store will open at 10am, with bubbly served from 4pm to 7pm.

byFoke was first launched online in 2019 by husband-and-wife team Dan and Casey Gregory.

The successful retail business was featured on Dorset Biz News a year later in 2020.

Casey, Owner and Founder, said: “We’re really looking forward to having a space where we can get together with our customers face to face.

The new shop is building upon the strong principles that byFoke focuses on.

They include supporting and championing small independent brands, creating an ethical and sustainable business that has as small a footprint as possible and creating memorable gift experiences for both the purchaser and the recipient.

Every gift from byFoke is packaged in a luxury gift box, wrapped in ribbon and accompanied by a hand-written note at no extra cost.

Gifts can be shipped directly to the recipient or sent to the customer to deliver themselves.

Every item is produced using ethical and sustainable methods and materials.

In addition, all packaging and gift wrap is made from compostable, recyclable and reusable materials.
