After launching their annual Growth Programme to great success in 2021, Tech South West will once again return next year to help 150 small businesses achieve their growth goals.

Growth Forge 2024 will see the organisation working with a number of partners to create an individual support package for each participating business, including one-to-one consultations and comprehensive company assessments.

These businesses will also be able to meet up, share experiences and take part in workshops at three face-to-face Growth Days throughout 2024.

The programme helped companies secure £1 million in funding during its first year, with alumni including savvy navvy, Milbotix and digiLab.

Ben Cooper, Funding and Support Lead at Tech South West, said: “Growth Forge 2024 will play a key role in supporting outstanding tech companies in the South West to address pain points and achieve their next stage of growth.

“With an abundance of innovative firms in the region committed to green growth, healthtech development, climate science and tech for good, supporting the growth of the sector means supporting the nation at large to achieve its full potential.

“We’re looking forward to supporting and working closely with ambitious companies from across the region that support that vision.”

Those partners include Bishop Fleming, Ashfords, Sandler, Program, Microsoft and Howden.

Research commissioned by Tech South West has forecast the tech sector to reach a value of nearly £20 billion and provide 125,000 jobs by 2026, making it the fastest growing area in the region’s economy.
