A Weymouth holiday park has been presented with a top tourism food award by UK staycation specialist Hoseasons.

Breeze Bar & Grill at Chesil Vista Holiday Park was crowned winner of the Customer Choice Food Award for Family Fun destinations at Hoseasons’ 14th annual Gala Awards evening.

It won the accolade after achieving the highest scores in independent customer satisfaction surveys.

Katie Harper-Brown, Holiday Experience Manager at Chesil Vista Holiday Park, described the award as “amazing”.

She added: “We’re so happy to be recognised by holidaymakers and to have received an award based on the strength of customer satisfaction scores.

“Our team is always appreciative of the support from our guests.

“We do everything we can to ensure our food is of the highest standard, so it’s nice for the team to get the recognition they deserve.”

Speaking after presenting the award, Simon Altham, Chief Portfolio Officer at Awaze UK, Hoseasons’ parent company, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to award the team at Chesil Vista Holiday Park.

“We all know the importance that positive reviews can have on bookings and it’s clear from the feedback they’ve been receiving that they’re doing a fantastic job of catering for our customers.”

Chesil Vista is one of three parks in Dorset operated by Waterside Holiday Group.

The other two are The Waterside Holiday Park & Spa on Weymouth’s Bowleaze Cove and Osmington, in Osmington Mills.
