Long-term Dolphin Poole retailer Cycle Paths has undergone an extensive refit as part of a Giant rebrand.
Having been a key part of the Poole retailer offering for two decades, Cycle Paths has now become the international biking business’ first brand store in Dorset.
Following a significant investment to refit, refresh and modernise the space, the new store has now expanded onto a second floor, doubling its retail space and diversifying its range of bikes, clothing and accessories.
Matt Banks, Director at Giant Poole, said: “This is such an exciting time for our team, having all our hard work recognised by such a prestigious brand in the industry is truly something worth celebrating.
“Our previous owners should be proud of running such a successful family business, as this is what has led to this incredible opportunity to expand, diversify and enhance our offering.”
John Grinnell, centre manager of The Dolphin Poole, added: “We are so proud of all that Cycle Paths has achieved over its last 20 years of business and this fantastic opportunity has secured the store’s future for another 20 years and beyond.
“At The Dolphin Poole we are continuing to attract heavyweight national and international brands to Poole town centre, while we nurture our local businesses and entrepreneurs who call us home in Kingland. This is what makes Poole such a diverse place to shop, eat, work and learn.”
Ian Beasant, Managing Director of Giant UK, commented: “Giant stores’ success is built with cutting-edge products from our house brands; this, combined with the passion, knowledge, and energy of store owners, is our winning formula.
“Giant Poole is an exciting addition to a 34-strong store network.”
